Hubbell & Hudson

I went back to Houston this weekend and had to visit my favorite new sidewalk market, Hubbell & Hudson. Not used to rising before 11 am on a Friday, I tried their latte and was instantly hooked with the rich flavor and creamy foam. This great little market was designed and created by a developer in The Woodlands. It mimics Whole Foods' fresh approach to food and Trader Joe's neighborhood charm. Besides a gourmet cooking school and swanky bistro located inside, it has all sorts of nifty goodies. H&H will keep you intrigued and giddy with all the interesting finds it has to offer. Here are some of my faves:

Oh hey, come on in!

Fresh plants, herbs, and flowers coming right up.

Stations like this biscotti area are set up all over the store. Tons of free samples--the pinnacle of every shopping experience--are also available to try.

The almond croissant sells out almost immediately everyday. One bite will tell you why.

This danish leaves everyone in a peachy mood.

Hydrangeas and Roses were arranged for a wedding that was going on later in the day in the bistro.

I never claimed it was healthy, just homemade and delicious.

A Wiseman Once Said . . . Thinking of fabulous food is enough to get me out of bed, even if it's before 11.
