Hello Again!

Hi friends! I'm back from the wedding festivities and am now a married gal! I'll be changing the look/name of the blog shortly but I couldn't wait to post a few photos in the interim. Let's start where I last left off . . .

Friday evening friends and family went through our rehearsal at Royal Oaks. (my apologies for the limited photos at the moment).

We headed outside for a bit but everyone made it quick due to the heat!

After the rehearsal run-through we all headed to Perry's Steakhouse for a beautiful dinner hosted by my in-laws. I don't have the photos available at the moment but everything was GORGEOUS! The flowers, the table numbers, the menu card, the food, the private champagne, the slideshow, the speeches. It was beyond anything I would/could have ever dreamed of!

It was such a fun and emotional evening for everyone!

At the end of the evening Ryan & I exchanged wedding presents with each other. Can you guess what he got me?! A custom made skeleton key necklace with some beautiful diamonds on it!

I did snag one photo of the flowers after the dinner at my hotel.

My sister painter a few Andy Warhol-esque paintings of us for some amusement at the rehearsal dinner as well.

The Big Day!

Our wedding is just a few short days away! After a fun bachelor/bachelorette weekend spent in Austin and Houston respectively, we are ready for the the big day - ecstatic in fact.

Just a few more details, family get-togethers, and dance lessons stand in our way from becoming Mr. & Mrs. Key. Can you tell I'm excited?!

Hostess Gifts

I'm in need of five, yes, FIVE hostess gifts shortly. What do you typically give to those gracious hostesses when the occasion arises? Here are a few of my ideas, have you got any I could use?

I definitely work off of lists - so this could be perfect for that Type A kind of gal! 

A pashmina and a pretty ribbon does wonders!

Perhaps some personalized linen guest towels?

One of my favorite gifts that I enjoy giving are small photo albums or frames!

I just received this little gem and think it's absolutely perfect!

Guest Book Conundrum

The big day is just two months away and there are still lots of little details to tie together. In between addressing invitations and ordering table number holders, I managed to find a site with adorable guest books.

The script on these guest books match the wedding invitations perfectly. There are tons of different colors available. What color combinations do you suggest?

Something muted?

Something a little more bold?

Something pastel?

Maybe something pink?!

Or something bright?
